Dagbon Chieftaincy Peace Process

<p>The Dagbon chieftaincy dispute, one of the most protracted conflicts in Ghana's history, has its roots in succession disagreements between the Abudu and Andani royal gates dating back to the early 20th century. The conflict intensified with the assassination of Ya-Naa Yakubu Andani II in 2002, creating deep divisions within the Dagbon traditional area.</p>
