2025 Annual Peace Education Conference: Call for Papers

The Zaamani Peace Institute is pleased to announce the 4th Annual Peace Education Conference, to be held on 15-17 October 2025 at the University for Development Studies, Tamale Campus.
This year's conference theme, "Indigenous Knowledge and the Future of Peace Education in Africa," invites scholars, practitioners, educators, and traditional authorities to explore how traditional African knowledge systems can inform and transform peace education practice across the continent.
We welcome paper submissions in the following thematic areas:
- Traditional conflict resolution and formal education systems
- Indigenous pedagogies for peacebuilding
- Youth engagement in traditional peacemaking
- Gender and traditional conflict resolution
- Technology and the preservation of indigenous knowledge
Submission deadline: 30 June 2025.
